Extension tubes for Leica M-lenses The LEM/VIS-III adapter set expands the range of compatible Leica M cameras with its variable construction, offering multiple application possibilities. It serves as both an adapter and an intermediate ring set. The following options are available:
- Visoflex II/III lenses can be focused to infinity on digital Leica M cameras with Live View functionality.
- Leica screw-mount lenses can be used on all Leica M cameras.
- Leica M lenses can be used on digital Leica M cameras with Live View functionality for close-up and macro photography with variable extension (3 intermediate rings, each with 10mm extension).
Depending on the use of intermediate rings, magnification ratios between 0.28:1 – 0.84:1 can be achieved with a 50mm Leica M lens.
NOTE:
We recommend using this adapter set only on Leica M cameras with Live View functionality. On all other M cameras, focusing of connected lenses is not possible due to the lack of rangefinder coupling.
To prevent tilting of cameras, lenses, bellows units, etc., the rear of the 3 intermediate rings features an adjustable threaded insert.
