Microscope Objective Mitutoyo M Plan APO 5x – Microscope objective with outstanding imaging performance
The Mitutoyo M Plan APO 5x is a high-precision, infinity-corrected microscope objective with a fixed magnification ratio of 5:1. Thanks to its high optical performance, excellent correction of imaging errors, and long working distance, it is ideally suited for extreme macro and micro photography. We also use this objective specifically for focus stacking because of its outstanding imaging performance.
The 34 mm working distance creates valuable space between the objective and the subject. This makes lighting, specimen setup, and precise positioning of the focal plane much easier to control – a clear advantage when working with finest structures, delicate subjects, and repeatable image sequences.
For use on cameras with full-frame and APS-C sensors, the optional MICRO-TUBE M26 with permanently integrated achromatic lens is required. We also recommend the matching ASTAT-MICRO support collar and a camera-specific adapter. For use with Fujifilm GFX and Hasselblad X medium-format cameras, the universal bellows unit BALPRO 1 is additionally required.
