Microscope Objective Mitutoyo M Plan APO 20x – Microscope objective for extreme magnification and finest structures

The Mitutoyo M Plan APO 20x is an infinity-corrected microscope objective with a fixed magnification ratio of 20:1. It is intended for applications in which the finest details, surface structures, and microscopic features must be rendered with maximum precision. Its high optical performance and the remarkable working distance for this level of magnification make it a compelling solution for extreme micro photography. Because of its outstanding imaging performance, we also use this objective for focus stacking.

With a 20 mm working distance, the objective still offers enough space for controlled lighting and carefully arranged specimen setup. Especially at very high magnifications, precise positioning of the focal plane is essential for building clean, high-resolution stacks from individual exposures.

For use on cameras with full-frame and APS-C sensors, the optional MICRO-TUBE M26 with permanently integrated achromatic lens is required. We also recommend the matching ASTAT-MICRO support collar and a camera-specific adapter. For use with Fujifilm GFX and Hasselblad X medium-format cameras, the universal bellows unit BALPRO 1 is additionally required.
