Auto Bellows Sony E-Mount with built-in Focusing Rail
Product information "Auto Bellows Sony E-Mount with built-in Focusing Rail"
with built-in Focusing Rail Automatic Bellows Unit for Sony E-Mount with built-in Focusing Rail
The automatic bellows unit for Sony E-Mount with built-in focusing rail combines high precision, full electronic coupling, and immediate usability in a single system that is ready to use without additional accessories.
Like the original design, this variant transmits all functions between camera and lens. This makes it ideal for demanding macro, micro, and reproduction applications as well as focus‑stacking photography.
The integrated focusing rail allows exact shifting of the focal plane without changing the bellows extension or the position of the tripod. The magnification ratio remains constant.
This is especially valuable for reproduction and macro shots with very high sharpness, for focus‑stacking series with controlled positioning of the focal plane, and for detailed macro and micro photography with demanding subjects.
With suitable Sony E‑Mount lenses, the system opens up magnification ratios from over 1:1 up to approx. 10:1. Typical example ranges:
FE 90 mm f/2,8 Macro G OSS – approx. 1:1,25–4,5:1
SEL 135 mm f/1,8 G – approx. 1:1,6–1,8:1
SEL 85 mm f/1,8 – approx. 1:1,1–2,2:1
SEL FE 24 mm f/2,8 G – approx. 3:1–5,1:1
SEL FE 35 mm f/1,8 – approx. 2,1:1–3,6:1
FE 35 mm f/1,4 G – approx. 2,3:1–4,5:1
SEL FE 40 mm f/2,5 G – approx. 1,8:1–5,1:1
FE 50 mm f/1,2 G – approx. 1,6:1–4,5:1
SEL 100 mm f/2,8 G OSS – approx. 1:1,6–2,3:1
SEL FE 100 mm f/2,8 Macro GM OSS – approx. 1:0,7–6:1
SEL FE 100 mm f/2,8 Macro GM OSS with teleconverter – approx. 1,6:1–10,3:1
Voigtländer Macro Apo‑Lanthar 65 mm f/2,0 – approx. 1:1,2–3:1
Voigtländer Macro Apo‑Lanthar 110 mm f/2,5 – approx. 1:1,3–3,6:1
The cable‑connected bayonets can be detached from the bellows standards when required and used as an automatic reversing adapter to mount zoom lenses in reverse position directly on the camera.
With an optional adapter ring, lenses can additionally be used in reverse orientation on the bellows. This extends the system’s range of application and offers more creative options for macro photography.
The unit is fully integrated into the NOVOFLEX adapter system and can be combined with a wide range of accessories and different lenses. Nikon‑F and other system lenses can be used with suitable adapters.
For extremely detail‑critical work, pairing with the high‑resolution, apochromatically corrected objective head FLEX‑PYRITE90 is recommended. It covers a focusing range from magnification ratio 1:1 to infinity.
